Gouda & Pea Muffins

Serves 12

  1. 2 eggs beaten
  2. 2 cups all purpose flour
  3. ½ cup whole wheat flour
  4. 1 1/2 cup grated Brown’s Gouda
  5. 2 tsp baking powder
  6. ¼ tsp salt
  7. 1¼ cups milk
  8. ¾ cup peas

In a large bowl mix all purpose flour, whole wheat flour, salt, baking powder and the grated Gouda cheese. Add in the beaten eggs and using a spoon stir to moisten while adding the milk to balance the consistency (you might not need all the milk) finally add in the peas. Divide equally among 12 oiled or paper lined muffin cups

Bake in a fairly hot oven for 20 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean. Serve warm or cool
