Serving Cheeses

  1. Remove cheese from the fridge about 30 to 60 minutes prior to serving. Large cheeses require a longer time to reach room temperature than soft-ripened cheeses.
  2. Keep your cheese wrapped in cling film so it doesn't dry out. Unwrap it just before serving.
  3. If you are presenting cheeses on one cheese platter, do not cut them into individual servings advance. It is best to let guests slice their own portions.
  4. Be sure that cheeses have sufficient room between one another to allow for easy cutting.
  5. Have individual knives for each cheese served.
  6. Avoid placing pungent cheeses right beside delicately flavored cheeses.I.E. Don’t place the blue cheese next to a cream cheese.
  7. Wrap any leftover cheese as soon as possible and return to fridge.
